Abby started swimming with the Cyclones when she was 6 years-old. She started year-round swimming when she was 9 and swam with Swim Atlanta for a year before switching to Gwinnett Aquatics, where she swam until she graduated from high school in 2017. Abby swam for the Brookwood High School Swim Team and also swam her freshman year of college at Ohio Wesleyan University. She currently swims on the University of Georgia Club Team. She swam summer league for the Cyclones until she graduated from high school and has loved every minute of it!
Abby has been a coach with the Cyclones for seven years, taught swim lessons at Gwinnett Aquatics for four years, and taught swim lessons one year through the Bishop Bubbles program at Ohio Wesleyan. She taught swim lessons and lifeguarded at the University of Georgia for two years.
Abby is pursuing a degree in International Affairs with a double-minor in Spanish and Latin American and Caribbean Studies. She plans to pursue a career in politics and will be graduating from UGA in May of 2021.
Amber will be a junior at Kennesaw State University. She was a volunteer coach for a year and this will be her 5th year of coaching and she absolutely loves it. She has been swimming with the Cyclones since she was 11 years-old. She is pursuing a degree in early childhood education at KSU.
Michael graduated from Brookwood High School in May 2020. He is currently attending Georgia State University where he is majoring in Criminal Justice. He was a volunteer coach for one year and has been a junior coach with the Cyclones for four years. Michael has been swimming since since he was four years-old, when he joined the Cyclones and where he has continued to swim for the past 14 years. Michael was on the Brookwood High School Swim Team all four years and swam on the high school state team for two years, including one of the State Championship teams. He has also been swimming with Swim Atlanta since he was 8 years-old.
Keeley will be a sophomore at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. She first started swimming for the Cyclones when she was three years-old and continued until she graduated high school. She swam competitively for five years and was on her high school swim team for three years. She has always enjoyed this sport and is excited to coach again this summer! Keeley is currently a business major and hopes to own her own business.
Jillian is a sophomore at Brookwood High School. She is going into her first year of coaching but her 9th year of swimming for the Cyclones. She swam competitively at Gwinnett Aquatics for five years. She now runs cross country and track and field at Brookwood. She plans to pursue a career in physical therapy and hopefully attend the University of Georgia when she graduates.
Zack is a junior at Brookwood High School. He has been swimming for the Cyclones since he was 4 years-old and swam year-round at Gwinnett Aquatics for five years. Outside of swim, Zack enjoys his time playing on the Brookwood Varsity Lacrosse Team. He plans to attend college and is considering majoring in biology.
