The Cricket Commons Cyclones Swim Team is a competitive, but fun summer swim swim team and member of the Gwinnett County Swim League. The team swims out of the pool in the Cricket Hill subdivision and accepts swimmers ages 4-18. Registration typically takes place in March and the season begins around the second week of May. The season goes until the beginning of July with weekly swim meets culminating in the Gwinnett County Swim League's County Meet at Georgia Tech.
Swim meets typically take place on Thursday nights, and the team likes to celebrate on Fridays with donuts, ribbons, and free swim! The team also has various events throughout the season, including an ice cream party and a fun-filled end of season party.
Swimmers must be between the ages of 4-18 and must be able to swim the length of the pool without assistance. Swimmers who cannot do this can still participate in our Little Twisters Program until they are able to swim independently. We welcome swimmers from within the Cricket Hill and Churchill Commons subdivisions as well as members who live outside these two communities.
If you have any questions about the program, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Cricket Commons Cyclone Swim Team has a Little Twisters program for swimmers who are not yet able to swim independently. Little Twisters have their own swim meets on Fridays and can graduate from the program when they are ready to swim independently in a swim meet.
